There are three luxuriously appointed queen ensuite rooms. The rooms are beautifully decorated with imported fabrics and furniture. Each room has a large private deck with views of the ocean. Step off your deck and it is a mere twenty five paces to the generally deserted three kilometre white sand beach. A full cooked breakfast is served in the large guest lounge/dining room and is included in your rate.

Children over 12 welcome in the guest rooms.

Directions

From Hobart/Hobart International Airport

Take the A3 from Hobart or the airport to Sorell. At Sorell, take the A9 to Port Arthur. Once you reach Port Arthur, continue on the same road for a further 10km towards Nubeena. Turn left into White Beach Road. (You will pass an IGA supermarket on the left about 300m before the junction). Harpers Place is approximately 2 km from the start of White Beach Road, the second turning on the right after the caravan park. We are at the fenced property end of Harpers Place.

From Port Arthur

On leaving the Port Arthur site, turn left towards Nubeena. White Beach is approximately 10 km from Port Arthur. Turn left onto White Beach Road.
Harpers Place is approximately 2 km from the start of White Beach Road, the second turning on the right after the caravan park. We are at the fenced property end of Harpers Place.

Dinner, by arrangement

Dinner is served by arrangement and, wherever possible, is based around local and organic produce, either from our own organic gardens or from Storm Bay, where we catch salmon, tuna, flathead, trumpeter and the world-famous rock lobster crayfish). There is nothing quite like homemade cooking, especially when the chef is also the owner of the establishment! Jill has even cooked for the Premier of Tasmania - and constantly for Jonathan, a food critic of the highest calibre! Dinner is a set 3 course menu, which changes daily. Cost is $55 per person. We have a good range of Tasmanian wines featuring the award winning Bream Creek wines, our local vineyard. As we are licenced, we don’t do BYO with dinner.

Snacks and more...

Why not order one of our delicious antipasto platters with cold meats, Tasmanian cheese, olives, dips and more to enjoy at sunset with a glass of wine. (Cost is $16 and can be booked through our website when making a reservation or once you arrive). A small selection of light meals is also available to enjoy in your room until 8pm.
